DUOTRON Gottlieb (USA)Monté, jouableCa dépendI am posting this machine as my first "WORK IN PROGRESS" machine. Bought this for cheap as its older and needs its fair share of work. BUT, it works, plays and still needs some work. Currently, the sound is not working properly, the body was painted black and other colors. And the coin mechanism was removed from the top, and repainted and replaced with wood. *Coin mechanism missing was upsetting* SO WAS THE PAINT JOB!! Most of the board works, around 90%, lights seem to work, strip coming towards the bottom is completely out, think it will need a switch and a few more lights to be complete. Someone was stating hot coils would be good, anything that would be helpful would be amazing. I am also looking for a Owners repair manual. I understand the copyrights, but lets be honest, its 2016 and its amazing they make machines, and want to hold back our right to repair these machines and bring them back to life. Hopefully someone can give some insight on sound, and a owners Manual. I will post photos today after work.
MR. & MRS. PAC-MAN Bally (USA)Monté, doit être réparéCa dépendNeeds A good amount of work. Bought this as another repair unit. Seems whoever had it, must have had it in a area where humidity was an issue. The previous owner stated that he had the machine repaired, bought it off of a friend. The whole machine needs a lot of work. Body seems to be separating in some areas, the back body has a good amount of rot which was painted over black to salvage the body art it self. The board seems to have a good amount of ware, ball got stuck on the star switch up top. For a machine to have made it though all that, and still mostly work.. That was enough for me to see the big picture a the end of this. I've never seen a Pacman machine at all, but come to find out they even made a BABY pacman which has a game and a half pinball. COOL! I do need some advice on this, the guides and videos say to use a magic eraser... Because they used ink on these boards during production, if you have it painted, the pain will eventually come off. So anyone have advice? Magic eraser and just rewax the board for smooth game play? Also the ball seems to hit the glass, a function the owner said was "cool" but is more annoying then anything. And the back glass only having one light in the middle, when they have slots for the other 2 lights which may or may not have been there. I will post photos today, Also another weird thing, seems a button was added to the front cabinet that goes to the coin mechanism. Not too familiar with this but seemed a little off as the other machines we've seen doesn't have this. All in all, cool machine and will look forward to learning more about it.
RED & TED'S ROAD SHOW Williams (USA)Monté, jouableCa dépendThis machine has to be one of the COOLEST machines I think I've ever played! I took it in on trade as my first machine, it has been redone with some newer decals, Led lighting, also has the shaker... which is awesome! I am having an issue with the lift for TED'S mouth. The bulldozer seems to get semi stuck up at times. I am curious if anyone has a fix or may know what it is, before I get into it. Everything else works. Cool machine and will more then likely keep it. Have changed switch 55 since owning it, but no real issues other then the Dozer issue. I've seen them for $3100 and up, wouldn't really want to sell so will more then likely keep it as the money isn't important, having the physical machine is!
