Backglass and cabinet in great shape. Bought reproduced back glass at Seattle pinball show. Flippers chatter like no other machine I have had. Rebuilt, triple checked connections are correct, new coil stops, nothing seems to fix this. Update: Fixed chattering flippers by cutting 1/8” space on both sides of the flipper link to allow the return spring to fully compress. No more chattering flippers. New coin door skin installed. Installed bridge rectifiers on both slingshots and all 3 thumper bumpers. After completely rebuilding these 5 items and clearing the connections on the rail with no discernible improvement in performance, I converted these coils from AC to DC with 50v full wave bridge rectifiers. Predictably huge improvement in playfield speed. Update-Spinner feature would remain illuminated between balls. Even after Game Over. I loved the challenge of this game when I was 15 yrs old, and 37 yrs later it's still the best. The flip flags are great, but a perfect shot is needed to drive the ball up the side ramp to the top of the playfield and in the kickout hole or down the right side to collect the bonus features of the flags. Hitting the infield special can drain the ball RDTM.
